For its 11th edition, the Open de Saint-Omer was once more four days of great golf. The winner: the 39-years old Spanish Carl Suneson succeeded on this difficult course in spite of the weather. Carl Suneson was quite overcome when receiving his prize from Jean-François Remésy. Thanks to this victory, he is ensured to play on the European Tour until end of 2008.
More than 10,000 spectators were present, over the duration of the tournament to follow this great event.
